Can one of the German readers (or one of the other readers that happens to know) please help me think of the name of this toy…it’s doing my head in:
When we lived in Germany (1987-1990) we all had these toy little bears. They were made of rubbery plastic, with a tiny layer of fluffy velvet [...]

C-c-cold!

What has happened to the wheather? It has suddenly gone from an after-summer-well-maybe-it’s-going-to-be-winter-in-some-distant-future to wham-bham-winter’s-just-around-the-corner kind of coldness! Brrrr-rr-rrr. Don’t know about everyone else, but we’re wrapping ourselves up in our wintercoats already.
To make the idea of ‘winter approaching’ even stronger, I went ice skating this weekend! Whooo! There is an ice skating rink - [...]

Have a wild guess what time of the month is approaching… LOL
This was drawn during a meeting. The….most….boring….meeting I’ve had the honour to attend ever. I was literally counting the minutes and adding on the frustrations. 3,5 hours long. Many many minutes.

(Well…in reality I haven’t made her yet. She’s next on the list!)
I made another mouse and a house for the two mice. Here is one of them in [...]

But onto the subject of this post: yesterday we went to see Greek-super-diva Anna Vissi in Amsterdam! This totally made Loe’s year..maybe even life! [...]
Autumn

It’s autumn. Well and truly.
I always very clearly feel the change from summer to autumn. Much more clearly than any other seasonal change. I get more introspective and I suddenly feel like staying inside all day, curling up with hopelessly romantic novels (a.k.a. lezzy smut) and doing lots of knitting and needlework.
I made Mr. Squirrel [...]
Kat’s birthday

It’s Kat’s birthday today
We’ve already celebrated it yesterday, starting the day with a beautiful birthday card from Kat’s mother. Later my parents came over for a visit and some cake. And we finished the day eating pizza’s from our local Turkish (but Italian baking) pizza place, watching season 1 of the Brtitish series [...]
